Is Playa Saladita remote ?

No, while we are off a dirt road still, Saladita has charming new restaurants, shops, cantinas and markets opening up every year.

How far is Calma from the surf ?

Surf is everywhere here and can be found all year round. The primary point break of Saladita is a 5 minute drive from the property. Calma is very central to some of the best waves in the region. The summer months bring the most consistent waves.

Does Calma offer cleaning services ?

Yes, typically the day of check in as well as mid way through your stay.

What is the process for booking ?

Guests will fill out the form providing name, requested dates, guest count and any other helpful information in the "Book Now" page or email us directly at relax@calmasaladita.com to begin planning their stays directly with us. We can then ensure we capture the experience you hope to have while here. Often a phone call or an email exchange makes all the difference.

What are the fees and payment options ?

Guests can expect to see in addition to the nightly rate a few charges:

1: Tax of 17%

2: Cleaning fee of $45 USD

3: REFUNDABLE Security deposit of $500 USD - Refunds issed withen 7 days of departure.

Personal checks, VENMO or CashApp are accepted.

Does Calma have Wifi ?

Yes, Calma has Starlink High Speed Internet to support most streaming services and basic usage patterns.

Do I need a car while there ?

Yes, we would recommend having a car so that you can go and explore the area. We can help put you in touch with professional and cost effective options.

If we book CASA can other parties rent the CASITA during my stay?

No, if you reserve CASA we will not allow others to reserve CASITA. CASITA is available to CASA guests and employees of Calma. We will let you know in advance of this if we expect to occupy CASITA.

Is the beach out front safe to swim?

While there is no lifeguard obviously the cove in front of the house is a fantastic place to swim. We advise wading in front of the cluster of palms on the beach to avoid most obstacles. The cove is sand bottom. January - May is best for beach activities due to the large sand deposits and broad beaches. During this time you can walk miles in either direction.

Can I book on Airbnb ?

Absolutely, you can find us on Airbnb and can choose booking on their platform as well.
